VestigeView links

You can link from your own application straight to a page in VestigeView. The user must be signed in to VestigeView, and must have access to the vehicle.

The root URL​

Every link starts with the root URL of your VestigeView site. This is https://vestigeview.app, or your own branded address, for example https://yourbrand.example.com.

Live stream​

Opens the live camera stream of one vehicle.

[root]/go/livestream?assetId=[VestigeAssetId]
[root]/go/livestream?vin=[Vin]

History​

Opens the location and event history of one vehicle.

[root]/go/history?assetId=[VestigeAssetId]
[root]/go/history?vin=[Vin]

For both links:

  • assetId is the vehicle ID from the gRPC API or the notification stream.
  • vin must match the vehicle's VIN in VestigeView (Asset.Details.Vin).

Event media​

You do not build event media links yourself. Each event in the notification stream carries a ready-made link in MediaUrl.
