Integrating with VestigeView
VestigeView gives you three ways to integrate:

Most integrations use the gRPC API and VestigeView links only. Ask for the notification stream if you need real-time alerts or a full history in your own database.
Before you start
You need a client ID and secret for the gRPC API. See Authentication, and Access, limits and support for how to ask for one.
Start small
Most integrations begin with a read-only test: get a token, list your vehicles with GetAssets, then read one vehicle's status with GetAssetStatuses.
Identifiers, time and units
- Vehicle and driver IDs are stable GUIDs. They do not change.
- All timestamps are UTC. Each value carries its own timestamp, which is when the vehicle reported it.
- Distances are kilometres. Speeds are km/h. Engine hours are hours. Battery levels are volts.
